A Colorado native shrubby perennial delivering bright orange-red mallow flowers throughout the summer. Extremely drought tolerant, it thrives in poor, sandy soils and requires minimal supplemental water once established. The clustered flowers attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. The fine, slightly fuzzy gray-green foliage contrasts beautifully with other native perennials.
